Building/structure dates: 1900 initial construction
Significance: Until its destruction in 1938 by a hurricane, this was considered the oldest sawmill in the state. Although altered ca. 1850s, it served as the model for a replica of a typical sawmill that is planned by Old Sturbridge Village, Sturbridge, Mass.
